Charity cake // This cake was commissioned by Mr Charity cake // This cake was commissioned by Mr LHoC to take to work @balfourbeatty to be raffled to raise money for the great @wearelighthousecharity who support construction workers and their families in all sorts of circumstances. The raffle is happening over a couple of days so I am waiting to find out how much it raised! 20 years young // Today I was privileged to make 20 years young // Today I was privileged to make a celebration cake for @ecomontessoriwinchester which is a company I have worked for, for nearly 15 years! Today our Winchester nursery turned 20, which I think we can all agree is an incredible achievement. Many, many children have passed through the doors having had an amazing start to their education and young life, my son included! We had such a lovely celebration this afternoon with children, parents, our amazing staff this and of course cake. It takes a bit longer to make than the usual American butter icing, but it is so worth it! It can be flavoured in a multitude of ways to suit your cake. What flavour would you have yours? La-di-dah// What a privilege it was to create my La-di-dah// What a privilege it was to create my sister’s wedding cake yesterday! The day was filled with love, laughter, and cherished moments with family and friends. I had complete creative freedom with the design and flavors, and I’m thrilled with how it turned out! We danced the night away to Gary Miles’ fantastic set, and I’m sure there are plenty of sore feet and voices this morning! Wedding season is over for me now, but there are some gaps for celebration cakes and availability for wedding cakes next year. The Tichborne Arms// Flash back to Cathryn & Guy The Tichborne Arms// Flash back to Cathryn & Guy’s wedding in July at the dreamy @tichbornearms Such a fantastic venue for a wedding. It has that properly welcoming feel with the most friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble. This wedding cake was one I completely fell in love with, and recreated the brides vision from a cake she had seen many years before in a shop window. It turned out better than I could have ever hoped. Pinglestone Barn // This beauty was unveiled at Pinglestone Barn // This beauty was unveiled at the @pinglestonebarn wedding showcase last Sunday. So many people were drawn to the fairy lights in the separator by @prop.options which just adds a bit of sparkle to the cake and makes the cake a true show stopper! The flowers, of course are all made out of sugar and handmade by me.
